FreeRTOS+FAT SL is a market proven, DOS compatible, proprietary and supported FAT file system provided by HCC Embedded to Real Time Engineers Ltd for use in systems that use FreeRTOS, and "bare metal" systems that do not use a published or commercial task scheduler.

This is a commercial license agreement for FreeRTOS+FAT SL, which is software that can be used under either a pure GPL open source license (which is different to the modified GPL license under which FreeRTOS is distributed) or a commercial license. Businesses and individuals that for commercial or other reasons cannot comply with the terms of the GPL V2 license must obtain a commercial license before incorporating FreeRTOS+FAT SL into proprietary software for distribution in any form. The commercial license completely replaces all FreeRTOS+FAT SL open source license terms. The commercial license permits the purchaser (the Licensee) to use the software in accordance with the terms set out in the FreeRTOS+FAT SL commercial license agreement.

Two purchase options are available:

  1. Single product license
  2. Product line license
"Single Product" and "Product Line" are defined at the end of the license document. Both license types require a description of the product you intend to use FreeRTOS+FAT SL in to be entered into the "Enter product definition" text box above.

Please ensure to read to the full license document before making a purchase, as the act of making a purchase is taken as your consent to be bound by, and become a party to, the agreement.

Thank you for supporting the future development, maintenance and support of the FreeRTOS project!
