LPCXpresso Development Platform - Hardware and Development Tools

LPCXpresso is a low-cost development platform that supports NXP's ARM Cortex-M3 based LPC microcontrollers. The platform is comprised of a free simplified Eclipse-based IDE (downloaded separately) and low-cost target boards that include an integrated JTAG debugger interface. Designed for simplicity and ease of use, the LPCXpresso IDE (powered by Code Red) will provide software engineers a quick and easy way to develop their applications.

The combination of IDE and evaluation board provides everything necessary to use the example projects, and start putting your new RTOS skills into practice.

The book presents eighteen simple FreeRTOS based examples written specifically for the LPC17xx LPCXpresso development platform. The examples start off demonstrating the fundamentals of using FreeRTOS, and build through the book to introduce more and more concepts.
